Welcome to HogtownComedyRadio, where you will find some of the brightest comedic talent passing through the weekly Sunday Comedy Night at Ein-stein and the Annual Hogtown Comedy Festival. In it’s ninth year, the Steamin’ Heap O’ Comedy Show is Toronto’s longest continuously running open stage and has been host to over 3000 comics!
Welcome to the Toronto Open Mike podcast or 'TOMcast'. It is recorded Wednesdays at our Open Mike Nite show. In it’s fifth year, our stage has been host to over 2000 performers, everyone from complete amateurs to recording professionals trying out some new licks. From folk songs to heavy metal, from spoken word to hip hop and everything in between, there is something for everyone here. If you don’t like the current performer just fast forward to the next. Be sure to give an ear to the zany antics and comic relief of the host Josh. Part stand-up, part social commentator and sometimes ring master, Josh keeps the show interesting and entertaining night after night...

New to the show is our cash prize. You, the audience, can vote and decide the financial fate of the performers.

Jagermeister, "The Master Hunter". Rumours about this particular brand of liquor have been swirling around for years. Some people have said it contains deer's blood, others claim it was banned in Canada for years as an opiate. Whatever the case may be, Ein-Stein is one of the very few places in this city you're likely to find it on tap, and probably the only place you'll find it for only two dollars on Tuesday night. The dark stuff isn't to your taste? Well, for the same price you can get one of Ein-Stein's signature house liqueurs, "Apfelkorn". This sweet, apple flavoured beverage has fooled more than one with it's barely-there alcohol taste, so watch yourself! Don't let that stop you from giving it a whirl though...
