Message from Awat The last 2 and a half years have been the most amazing and wild experience. Thank you all for being such a great group of friends. Thank you for making the last 2 and half years so much fun. Thank you to the Poker Group (you know who you are). Thank you to the Il Fornello Crew; Emily, Victoria, and the entire gang. A big thank you to the Open Jam Crowd; especially to Darren Williams, Paul Constantinou, and Harald Jobst for bringing us great music every Friday. Thank you to Saturday night’s group of rowdy dancers, who always got me in trouble with my neighbours and local police officers. A special thanks to BK, our amazing DJ. I also cannot forget my great friends/unpaid staff, Hamid and Tristan for all their help and support! Thank you to Scott Birke, one of my first local customers, and to all his friends for their unbelievably large alcohol tolerance! And, thank you to Marc Roberts, one of our most loyal supporters, who many of you would see Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday night!
I know all of you enjoyed hanging out until 5 in the morning at Monoloco, and that you will miss Monoloco desperately. But, do not worry. I will be taking some time off over the next couple of weeks. However, I am pleased to announce that I already have a new location for our first Friday Night Open Jam. The new place is smaller, more intimate, and a million times better! And, to keep the suspense, I’m not going to tell you the location until 1 week before the party. My first party is going to be invitation only, as we have a 70 person capacity. My close friends and my Special Monkey Group will be invited.
I will be going away for a few days, but will be checking emails and facebook messages after I return from Cuba. I love you all, and thank you again!
