For nearly 30 years now the Duke has been home to many ex-pat regulars, some of which were there on the opening night, and still frequent. If you're looking for a real British pub, you have found it.
The BarThe bar is undoubtedly the centerpiece of the pub. The solid oak bar was built in the UK and shipped over to Toronto in the 1970’s. The bar features three main sections all of which provide seating and common standing area, popular amongst the ex-pat regulars. Our staff, some of which hail from the UK, only add to the experience of visiting a real British pub.

LIVE Televised Sports
In addition to providing our ex-pat regulars with the very best in European Football (soccer) and Rugby, the Duke provides the ideal location to watch the very best of North American Sports. Live coverage of NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, College Football, NCAA, Formula 1, Nascar, Indy and Golf can be seen on any one of our six televisions throughout the pub.Want to throw a party for a particular game of sporting event? We can provide the ideal location and hospitality for your party.
Sports Team Sponsorship The Duke has for many years supported local sports teams through kit sponsorship and other financial assistance. The Duke currently sponsor three local football (soccer) teams, which we believe, have been successful for both the teams and the pub.
