Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a generous selection of appetizers to act as in betweens, The Yellow Griffin is a handy standby in a neighbourhood not particularly known for its bustling street life.
Taking Pub Fare Seriously
With more than 35 burgers to choose from, this pub’s menu signals how seriously they take their fare. For burger lovers, there is a variety of 8-ounce seasoned beef patties to choose from. The “Bollywood Burger,” “English Breakfast Burger,” or the “Big Stilton Burger” are to name but a few, and a freshly made lamb patty can be added to each of them. Those than do not enjoy beef, moreover, can opt for a chicken breast seasoned with a hickory rub, a turkey patty, a pork escalope, or an Yves vegetable patty, or the. Side choices include sweet potato fries, potato salad, and standard greens. Rounding out the menu is a variety of poutine concoctions for all palates, salads, and pub standards such as fish and chips, shepherd’s pie and nachos. The Yellow Griffin elevates the pub grub format to a unique level of decadence.

To blow off some steam, the Yellow Griffin features live music every night, as well as more tailored events, such as poker nights. A party room located on the second level can also be booked for private events or viewings of major sporting events.
